A couple randoms...

Every kid has to get into the toilet  paper....right?!

I just had to take a picture of her food. I would say she is a little piggy when it comes to eating, but she is actually more of a large hog! She usually eats her entire plate AND has seconds! OMG! This was her dinner the other night and yes, she had seconds! Oink, Oink!

The Go Cart

Cael got a go-cart last week. He has been riding it NON-STOP! He has really gotten used to it quickly and learning all the gidgets and gazmos that it has. The first picture is of Michael teaching him how to drive it. The second picture is of him learning the shifter. The third is him on his own...which all took play in about 5 minutes! It has a keyless remote with a starter and a shut off...I think I will learn how to use the auto shut off for when he gets going too fast! We have yet to get a helmet so he has limits to stay in the yard, but when we get some head gear...he will be able to explore a little more!!

I can farm too...

So since most of these posts are about the kids...I wanted to add what else we have been up to! I am very proud of my own "farming" this year. I have had great weather to work outside and we even have a couple new gardens this year...a veggie garden and a flower garden. I will be so happy in July when I get to cut fresh flowers from my own garden! I have been nagging at Michael for several years about these gardens...so hopefully I am not over my head and I am able to keep up with them! No pictures of the gardens...they are not worth looking at (yet!)!!!

Cael and Charlee

Charlee came to play last Saturday and they had a blast! It got unexpectedly HOT out...so  they found some appropriate swim clothes and we busted out the slip and slide!

Love me some sleeping baby pictures! I always leave her nicely tucked in on her belly all covered up and when I check on her later...this is how she is sleeping!

This is Cael's family portrait.The first one is a dog...although we do not have our dog yet, he wanted to include her in this picture! The second one is him. Third one is me (with the crazy hair). The tallest one is Michael and the last one is Elin.

We took a fun trip to the Red Oak YMCA with Ashley and Mailee for Elin's birthday! Elin loved splashing in the water and I can tell Cael will most definitely be a little swimmer this summer!

Cael dominated the Easter Egg hunts this year...we went to 4 of them and he loved every minute!

This and That...

Here is Elin on her actual birthday! Happy Birthday to our big girl!

This was first thing on her birthday morning. Aunt Shannon, Carter, and Lincoln called to sing Happy Birthday to Elin. I put it on speaker and Elin loved it! She especially loved it when I wanted to get a picture of it so I made Shannon sing twice! HA!

Last week: Cael being a patient big brother and helping his sister walk!

As of tonight: We officially have a walker! Each day over the past week, she has gained more confidence, getting a few more steps each day with much encouragement. Tonight, she finally did it on her own! She loves the camera, so I set it down on the table and let her walk to it! This is my first attempt to upload video, so hope it works for you!

Fun and Sun

Cael has been obsessed with his moon sand lately. Instead of getting it out and cleaning it up every day (which was exhausting) I ordered 10 pounds of moon sand and repurposed the water table. He has literally spent HOURS playing in it! He loves it because it is always out and available to play with and I love it because it is all self-contained and does not make such a huge mess! Mission Accomplished!
